The Gold Editions of our products can best be described as enhanced and upgraded versions of our current databases. All of the features
of the older versions have been maintained, and a whole host of new features have been added. See a complete review of the new features.
- Why did you make these?
We interact with our clients all the time, and it's become apparent that the people having the most success with our data were the ones who spent a lot
of time working through the numbers and coming up with great selling points to present to a client. We asked our most successful clients exactly what they
did and used their feedback to improve the database.
Using the standard directories, it would have taken hours of research to discover that your prospects 401(k) plan yields 3% less per year than a
comparable plan (similar industry, similar geography, similar employee size). Our new tools are designed to do that sort of number crunching in seconds,
so you can create a proposal that shows just how much you can bring to the table, and just how much the prospect needs your services.
- I like the old version, can I still buy it?
You can indeed. The "old versions" are still available for sale on CD and online, but they have also undergone a similar facelift and will
now also be updated quarterly.
- Can I get the Gold edition on CD-ROM?
The Gold databases are only available online. This allows us the flexibility to add new information whenever we get it, rather than being restrained
by the need to produce and ship a new CD.
- How long will I have access to my Gold database?
Most Judy Diamond databases are sold on a subscription basis. You will be able to log into your database for one year from your date of purchase.
- Didn't you used to offer two years on the older products?
We offered two years of access to the specific version that you paid for, with no updates of any kind. With the new edition we now offer four updates
over the course of a year, keeping your database more relevant to your needs.
- Is the Gold edition more expensive?
Yes it is. The Gold databases require a lot more effort on our part to produce and maintain, and the modest price increases only begin to reflect the
true value of the new tools and features. For example if you were to rent a similar-sized list of email addresses for just one use, it would likely run
you $5,000. Factor in 5 years of historical data, ranking systems and pre-calculated selling points and the Gold editions represent a tremendous value.
- I see you also raised prices on the standard version, what gives?
The standard editions of our products have also undergone a thorough revision over the last few months. We were able to bring many of the design
innovations we created for Gold into the regular editions. We're also now updating them four times a year. If you look around, you'll see that even
with our new feature set we STILL under-price the competition.
- I just bought the regular edition a month ago!
For market intelligence reasons, we've remained silent on the fact that we were preparing these new databases. If you've recently purchased from us,
we'll be happy to grandfather you into the new databases for the price difference between the old and new versions. We want everyone to experience the
value that our new tools can bring to the selling process, ESPECIALLY our existing customers.
- Can I really email to these addresses?
You can and you should, but we strongly recommend not sending more than one email every two weeks. The terms and conditions you agree to when you
purchase the Gold editions have a very clear section on responsible use of emails. Your email must comply with all aspects of the CAN-SPAM act,
including having a removal link and your physical address appear somewhere on the email. Keep in mind that a lot of people are going to be trying to
reach the same HR Director as you, so it's on everyone's best interest not to overload them.
- How did you get these email addresses?
While our exact process is a trade secret, we can tell you that each of these contacts was given the chance to opt out of being included on our
list and declined to take it.
- Why did I get so many returns on my email?
The average email list losses approximately 33% of its deliverability every year. Over time, people switch positions, companies, and emails. You may
also have had a subject line or email that was caught in a spam filter. Avoid terms like "free", "trial", and "v!Agra."
- Can I customize my order like I used to on CD?
Yes you can, but for a customized order (i.e. All companies in MI that use Aetna as a carrier), you'll have to call us at 800 231 0669.
