Version 11 - Fall/Winter 2004-2005

Version 11.02 of our Prospect Finder II software is now available. This version fixes an error that may appear when attempting to filter by the insurance carrier information. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THIS PATCH ON ANY PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE PROSPECT FINDER II SOFTWARE.

These downloads will only update version 11.00 or 11.01 of the products. Earlier versions are unaffected by the error and do not require an update.

Instructions

1. Click on the appropriate above link to download the proper appropriate update for the products you have purchased. Save the file to you desktop.
2. Run the downloaded program by double clicking on the new desktop icon.
3. Select the "Maintain" radio button.
4. If you have multiple data sets installed, select the one to update from the list.  Most people will only have one data set.
5. Click "Next".
6. If presented with another choice, select "Repair" and then click "next".

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if it worked?

The next time you launch the program, the new version number will appear in the title bar of the program.

Will my notes be preserved?

Your notes are untouched by the update process.  If your notes are critical we suggest making a periodic backup of "user.db", which contains your notes and other settings.  The user.db file is usually located at:

C:\Program Files\Judy Diamond Associates\<program name>

I got a message saying that it was updating version 10.03. Is something wrong?

The updater is incorrect, and is actually updating 11.01.  It will not actually make any changes to 10.03, should you have that version installed.

How do I re-install the program later?

First re-install the program from the original CD.  Then run this updater.
